Our client, a reputable manufacturer of construction materials, is seeking a Sustainability Energy Engineer based at their site in the Fermanagh border area.
The Role:
- Manage the EnMg system and recommend and support the implementation of energy performance improvements across the plant
- Ensure that the EnMS is established, implemented, maintained, and continually improved and conforms to the requirements of ISO 50001
- Devise action plans to improve energy performance and report on the performance of the EnMS and improvement of energy performance to management
- Promote and drive continuous energy performance improvement
- Contribute to broader team operational improvements
The Person:
- A third level qualification in a relevant technical discipline i.e., Engineering, Environmental or Sustainability or equivalent is essential
- A minimum of 2 years’ post-graduate experience
- Competent technical engineering knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical applications to implement energy saving solutions in various areas such as: Inverters / Variable speed drives (VSD’s), base load reduction, compressed air, pumps, drives, motors, hydraulics, LED Lighting, CHP (Combined Heat & Power), and heat recovery is required
- An understanding of BREEAM and other environmental assessment methodologies (Accredidation with BREEAM/LEED/WELL would be advantageous)
