Shift Maintenance Engineer – Nights

Craigavon – Armagh

Our client is looking for a mechanically biased maintenance engineer, who enjoys the autonomy of a night shift role.  
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will optimise performance of all plant and equipment through working to a pre-planned maintenance schedule and completion of same. Attending breakdowns and ensuring all plant fixtures and fittings are maintained to a high standard.
    • Working with others as part of a team, your role is to improve production facilities and reduce incidence of breakdowns.
    • Diagnosing breakdown problems and excellent fault-find skills are needed.
    • Ability to foster good relationships in order to understand breakdown issues and strive to continuously improve processes and PPM.
    • Experience within production and /or manufacturing engineering
    • Practical working knowledge of computerised maintenance systems
    • Both mechanical and electrical knowledge will be required to fulfil this role along with good technical engineering skills
    • City and Guilds Level 2 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
    • Computer Literate – Microsoft Excel Essential
    • Confidence to response positively when under pressure
    • Flexibility regarding your hours of work as required – close liaison with technicians and minimising downtime can sometimes mean working unsociable hours as the Plants operate 24 hours a day
This is a continental shift based role, working 7 days in 14.
Salary: £42,915 p.a (weekly paid)
