Refrigeration Engineer

We are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer for our client, based in Co Armagh.  The role will be field based, carrying out installation, commissioning and maintenance of a wide range of industrial refrigeration plant, mainly within the food processing industry.
 
The Role:
The role will involve travelling to customer sites servicing, maintaining and fault finding on a range of equipment.  Key duties include:
    • Preventative and reactive maintenance of refrigeration systems, ammonia 2 stage systems, secondary chilling systems, water chillers and large ice machines
    • Installation and commissioning of large industrial plants
    • Diagnosing faults in an effective and timely manner to customer satisfaction
 
The Person: Candidates must:
    • Be Level 3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualified.
    • Possess a sound electrical knowledge as well as F-Gas qualification & Ammonia Safe Handling (desirable – training can be provided).
    • Have extensive knowledge and experience of installing, servicing, maintaining large industrial and commercial refrigeration plants – cold stores, process chills, freezers etc.
    • Adhere to strict H&S regulations
    • Be able to work autonomously and take responsibility
Additional info:
    • Call out – 1 week in 6 – additional pay for this service.
    • Occasional out of hours work (when companies are on shutdown).  This is negotiable.
