Our client is further building its maintenance capacity and is looking for Multi-Skilled/Electrical bias Maintenance Technicians to join their existing team.
The Role:
- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance of a wide range of plant facilities and high speed processing, handling and packaging equipment, including compressed air, steam, refrigeration systems and effluent plant.
- Shift based role (new rota agreed with the current maintenance team) – 2 weeks Days; 2 weeks Nights (7 shifts over 2 weeks) – off every other weekend!
The Person:
- Will be time-served and will hold a relevant electrical /mechanical engineering qualification – ideally HNC/D qualified
- Will have over 3 years’ experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a high speed production environment
- Will have over 3 years’ PPM experience and worked in a highly automated plant
- Be proficient in mechanical & electrical systems including pneumatics, welding, hydraulics, stripping and rebuilding machines; electrical fault-finding, repairs and PLC knowledge
- Candidates should be flexible, team-workers who enjoy working in a fast moving, reactive maintenance environment.
