TechMet are pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer.

The Mechanical QA/QC Engineer will support technical project delivery, including the review of tender documentation, selection of plant and materials, technical submittals, services coordination and oversight of coordinated drawings

Based Finland · On-site · Espoo / Kirkkonummi

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relevant client communications

• Coordinate with contractors to ensure services are effectively integrated

• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities

• Ensure all HVAC deliverables meet project and safety requirements

• Coordinate with the project team to sequence pipework installation in line with programme requirements

• Support technical procurement of equipment, specialist subcontractors and suppliers

• Assist with documenting and costing changes to work scopes, monthly valuations and final accounts

• Map processes, develop control plans and implement actions critical to quality control

• Generate, track and maintain quality documentation throughout the production process and upload to the Quality System

• Carry out continual visual quality inspections and monitor compliance with quality standards

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline

• Strong organisational, communication and time management skills

• Proficient in MS Office, including Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC and quality control processes

• Experience with technical documentation, inspections and contractor coordination
