Mechanical & Electrical Shift Technician (B63-S-10124)
Our client, a City & Guild’s Assured, Mechanical, Electrical and Carbon Training Academy and delivers Facility Management Solutions and Carbon Management Solutions to Global Companies across a wide range of business sectors.
To support their rapidly developing business we are now looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Shift Technician for their Northern Ireland based business.
We are seeking a highly motivated, confident and safety conscious individual to support the operational and maintenance requirements for one of our clients within the Belfast region.
The individual will experience success from working in a fast-moving, challenging site environment and have a keen interest in personal development, specifically in the Mechanical and Electrical fields.
Full training will be provided for this role. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to complete Mechanical and Electrical training currently provided at our Training Academy.
Required Qualifications, Training & Aptitude
- Trade qualification in Mechanical / Electrical or above in a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 1 years post apprenticeship experience in an industrial engineering environment.
- NEBOSH/IOSH desirable
Key Competencies – Experience (knowledge)
1. One year post qualification engineering experience across different industrial sectors. Operating within a regulated environment.
- Previous experience includes CHP operations, Boiler, Compressors, Chillers and CO2 generation.
- Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a Maintenance team to meet the needs of the client.
- Have knowledge of the use of all appropriate safety equipment, test/indicating equipment, and Safety Signs.
- Demonstrate ability to reach Electrical / Mechanical Approved Person status.
This is a continental shifts role, working 7 out of 14 days.
Salary: £38-42k.
