Mechanical Design Engineer
Client based in Co Down/ Greater Belfast specialise in designing and manufacturing automated process equipment for the food industry and other hygienic applications, and we’re looking for someone who brings not just design expertise, but real insight into how machines are made and what they can do.
- Strong experience in SolidWorks, especially with stainless steel sheet metal design
- A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including TIG welding, bend radius, material thickness, and cutting capabilities etc
- Background in designing equipment for food production or other hygienic environments
- Practical knowledge of what works on the shop floor, not just on the screen
A full driving licence – some travel to customer sites around Northern Ireland will be required
Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
