Maintenance Technician- Mon – Fri


MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – South Down
 
Our client, based in South Down, a leading manufacturer of large cranes in Ireland, is looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility in County Down.
The primary objective of this role is to minimise breakdowns by routine PPM.
This is a Monday-Friday role, with very occasional overtime on a Saturday.
You will be working as part of an established team, and will be typically focussed on the following range of equipment:
 
    • Kaltenbach Saws
    • Peddinghaus Drill lines
    • Ficep Flat Line
    • Peddinghaus Angle lines
    • Shot Blasters
    • Kerf Plasmas
    • Mig Welders
    • Greco Airless paint pumps
    • Lift and Carry Systems
    • Powered roller tables
    • Pedax Rebar Machines
    • EVG auto benders
 
The ideal candidate will be local in South Down, so ideally from Newcastle/ Castlewellan area
 
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
    • Qualified mechanically – biased engineer, with some electrical experience and knowledge.
    • Experience of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
    • The ability to be able to change a chain or bearing would be advantageous.
    • A can do attitude and effective team member.
