Maintenance/ Reliability Engineer – days

Opportunity for Maintenance Engineer who has a solid foundation in maintenance {or even currently process/projects} and perhaps wants to take on on more dedicated days role and move into more of a reliability / problem solving role and become involved in projects.  The appointee will work closely with Automation  and will become a point of cotantact or a "go between" for guys on contintental shifts for instance.  It will be a move away from the bigger routine maintenance jobs and more be  bespoke.  
 
 DUTIES
  • Electrical & Mechanical  and instrumentation preventative and planned maintenance
  •  Equipment fault finding and CI.
  • Get involved in Relaibility aspects and look into processing issues
  •  Look at increasing efficiencies in maintenance and operations n accordance with SOP’s
  •  Risk assessment method statements (RAMS) and daily plans.
 
In the role you will also ensure  accurate records are maintained (on SAP PM or alternative) of all maintenance tasks performed to enable equipment history records to be efficiently maintained. Work as an integral member of the plant maintenance team to support operational fault diagnosis on all plant equipment, automation systems and networks
 
Requirements-
 NVQ Level 3 in Engineering with strong cross trade skills in mechanical/electrical
 4 years experience preferably FMCG/ highspeed packaging and ideally a blue chip foodplant
 
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm or 9/5pm and overtime available at time and half
