Excellent opportunity for Electrical, Mechatronic or Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join a major player in the FMCG manufacturing sector.      We are currently sourcing for Maintenance Engineers, working 12 hour shifts across days and nights to support our client’s various  manufacturing plants.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • 12 Hour Shift support
  • Detailed planned maintenance work to be carried out in all plants in line with PPM schedules
  • Carry out reactive repairs to keep the plants fully operational
  • Carry out fault finding methods to ensure root causes are found and resolved
  • Drive to improve reliability figures across the site
  • Controlled Shutdown and Start-up of equipment
  • Be actively involved in new installations installation, commissioning and ramp up
  • Booking out of spare items from stock
  • To be part of the site energy reduction team reducing our CO2
  • To support the other functions onsite Quality and Operations
  • To carry out PTW and LOTOTO for safe methods of work
 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ideally 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Time served apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechatronic or Electrical Maintenance discipline
  • Food Safety a preference but not essential
  • Mechanical or Electrical knowledge (Dual Skilled preferable)
  • Working knowledge of PLC controls
