Machine Setter – Injection Moulding
Greater Belfast, Antrim
Working with a growing and successful manufacturing company within easy commute of Belfast, we are keen to hear from experienced Machine Setters who ideally have experience in Injection Moulding or a Production/Manufacturing Operative who is interested in becoming a Trainee Machine Setter.
Ideal candidates:
- Experienced Machine Setters should have at least 4 years’ experience in Injection Moulding; whilst Trainees should have experience working in an Injection Moulding environment
- Experience of or understanding structured process improvement and problem solving techniques
- Experience of a “real time” machine monitoring system
- Knowledge and ability to complete autonomous maintenance on IMMs
- Previous experience of working with PVC & Polypropylene polymers would be a distinct advantage
- Ideally 3rd level qualified in a polymer science/mechanical engineering or other related discipline
- Good IT skills
