Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing international manufacturer based in South Down, are looking for an Engineering Project Manager.
Reporting to the Site Engineering Lead, you are responsible for engineering projects across the UK and Ireland sites. This role will be key to developing and implementing our client’s five-year strategy.
Main Activities/Tasks
This is an all-encompassing role for a qualified Engineer with at least ideally 5 years’ similar experience, who can demonstrate proven ability in managing facility, utilities & equipment projects, from conception through to construction and completion.
Essential Criteria:
Applicants must demonstrate the following essential criteria on their application form in order to be considered:
- Proven experience of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge and implementation of Engineering standards and requirements.
- Experience in commissioning and qualification activities.
- Knowledge of process safety management and change control processes.
Desirable Criteria:
Due to the nature of the role, preference will be given to applicants demonstrating the following desirable criteria:
• Chartered Engineer status.
• Proficient in Microsoft products, particularly in programming, managing, and reporting on projects utilising MS Project / Excel.
• Demonstrable working knowledge of FAT, SAT & IQ/OQ/PQ validations environment
• Demonstrable working knowledge of cGxP requirements for automated systems including: Computer Systems Validation, Computer Systems Lifecycle and GAMP5 Guidelines.
• Strong presentation skills. Comfortable presenting information to others at varying organisational levels.
