TechMet is pleased to continue working with one of NI’s major manufacturers which has an excellent global reputation for quality and innovation.   Due to continued growth the company is looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of electrical / automation projects.
 
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Scoping projects, agreeing milestones and objectives in consultation with all stakeholders
  • Ensuring that LV / HV systems are delivered within established timeframes, budget and industry standards
  • Monitoring, reporting and escalating  project issues as needed
  • Lead the development of practical and cost effective Electrical Design solutions
  • Support tender process, ensuring optimal economic and technical solutions
  • Organise testing, commissioning and validation of new facilities and equipment
 
The Person:
  • Degree qualified in an engineering discipline ideally BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 10 years’ experience of leading and executing complex, Electrical projects within a strict legislative environment
  • Extensive experience of project delivery through application of comprehensive project management process
  • Ideally knowledge of LV systems, including Transformers, RMUs, LV Distribution
  • Proficient in programming, managing and reporting on project using IT (MS project/Excel etc)
