Unique Opportunity for Electrical hands on Engineer, perhaps recently graduated to take on a hands on role and gain multi discipline exposure in industry.  
Company  are leading design, manufacturing and supply company based in Northern Ireland specialising in a wide range of bespoke conveyor projects and associated material handling systems.
The Opportunity
As an Electrical Engineer you will contribute to the full lifecycle of our projects, general & factory maintenance of machinery and facilities. You will provide assistance to the electrical & automation engineering team from initial concept and electrical design through to commissioning and customer handover. The successful applicant will be working closely with our mechanical design, manufacturing and install team.
Key Responsibilities:
 
    • Read and interpret electrical schematic drawings to build & wire control panels
    • Testing & inspecting in house of control panels & field equipment
    • Ability to fault find using electrical schematics and background knowledge of electrical systems
    • Prepare electrical documentation including BOMs, cable schedules, control panel layouts and stock checks
    • Support automation engineer in R&D and project tasks
    • Work with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.
    • Carry out factory & general maintenance including preventative maintenance for in house machinery and equipment
    • Carry out electrical installs and/or breakdowns, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of systems onsite and at client locations.
    • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point & Access)
 
Essential Requirements:
    • Qualification or final stages of Level 3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • Ideally  2 years’ experience in electrical engineering
    • Knowledge of control panels, electrical systems & automation
    • Experience of working on site (Preferable)
