Customer Technical Support (Roofing/Cladding)

We are keen to hear from candidates who have a good technical background with a 3rd level qualification in an engineering discipline as well as candidates who will have at least one years’ experience in a technical area such as mechanical/construction in a roofing and cladding field.

Working as part of a customer-orientated Technical Service Department, providing a high level of product/technical support for the development, manufacturing and use of the products.
The successful candidate must:
- have a 3rd level qualification in a technical subject e.g engineering / mechanical / chemical engineering OR have a minimum of one years’ experience in a technical area, preferably mechanical/construction in a roofing and cladding field
- be able to demonstrate experience of providing technical support in a sales / commercial environment
- be able to demonstrate experience of engineering plastics
- have good manual / practical skills
- have a good working knowledge of windows based software e.g. Microsoft Office;
- be able to initiate tasks and manage multiple tasks and projects
- be adaptable and able to cope with rapidly changing demands
- Carry out product investigations where necessary
The following would be an advantage:
- have a high level of proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software;
- knowledge / experience of plastics materials;
- Clean driving licence.
