{111} Project Engineer – Belfast based

Unique opportunity for a Project Engineer (mechanical or electrical bias) to work across a range of industries (food; pharma; advanced composites) and projects (including robotics, working with bespoke machine builds, and process style systems).    This role will appeal to engineers with good project working experience, good understanding of the needs of industrial customers and who is looking to progress to the next level where they will assume lead project responsibility and autonomy.
 
The Role:
This is an exciting and diverse role that will allow the successful candidate experience on a huge range of interesting and challenging projects while working for a growing and dynamic company.
  • Managing bespoke industrial projects
  • Full project lifecycle from initial customer contact, through quotation, proposal, design and delivery all while working within a larger project team
 
The Person:
The candidate should have experience in various aspects of industrial project management including:
  • Management of timelines
  • Communicating with customers
  • Meeting budgetary and timescale targets
  • Delivery of a full project package including documentation
Essential Criteria:
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering Discipline
  • Minimum 4 years Project Engineering experience in an industrial environment, preferably in delivery of capex machinery projects
Preferred – Experience in any of the following:
  • SolidWorks mechanical design
  • PLC/Scada
  • Robotics
  • Electrical Design
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
 
Benefits:
  • Belfast based – primarily office based but site visits to customers will be required – mainly within NI but some limited travel may be required overseas

  • 37.5 Hr Standard week, 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
 
This is a very flexible organization and will provide great experience and exposure – it will not be as constricted and rigid as perhaps larger organisations.
